What makes HT&CC, Inc.’s Phlebotomy program different from other programs and where have HT&CC, Inc. Phlebotomy graduates been hired?

Students are not just “taught”, they get “hands on” practice and learn the tools needed to succeed as a Phlebotomist by an actual working LA2 who is a manager & trainer for a leading laboratory in the State of Hawaii. Companies like Clinical Laboratories of Hawaii, Diagnostic Laboratory Services(DLS), Blood Bank of Hawaii, and various hospitals have hired gradates of HT&CC, INC.

Is National Certification for Phlebotomist mandatory in Hawaii?

In the state of Hawaii it is not mandatory to have National Certification in order to work as a Phlebotomist, however,  HT&CC, Inc. does encourage all graduates to eventually obtain certification. This will especially be important if the graduate moves to another state and would like to continue working as a Phlebotomist there.

HT&CC, Inc’s course is also designed to prepare the student for the national certification exam which can be taken a year after employment- gaining job skills- and it is usually partially paid for by the employer, whereas other programs will require students to pay additional costs to take the exam immediately after the completion of the course.

More general information will be given to each student regarding becoming certified by NATIONAL CERTIFICATION AGENCIES.
